As a wedding photographer at the top, I had several questions about almost every aspect of the profession and business, and I can truly say that Glen's book offers answers to many of my most important questions. From reading this book, you feel as if I were workshops wedding photography which Glenn shares his experiences, secrets and tips for digital photography wedding. I like how do you explain the latest trends in business, particularly in relation to the payment model of creativity that customers pay in advance the wedding photographer for full coverage and he or she in return provides the customer with a CD or a DVD complete set of resolution, color corrected and improved, the photos taken at the wedding. New customers can hire the photographer for the design and production of albums, but the goal is to provide customers and take digital pictures that tell a story for the wedding day. Since the beginning of the book, Glen made me take notes and make a list of improvements that I want to do my own digital photography. After reading the three examples of digital workflow that includes in the book, I went to my computer and start writing my workflow, as I set that not only saves time but helps me become a better photographer. In addition, Glen goes into almost every aspect of wedding photography digitl, between light and exposure settings, critical shots throughout the Weddding, suggestions for the camera and other digital devices (go to their website for a must have l 'equipment list) and post-production with Photoshop and other photo management software. As the target occupied and experienced wedding photographer, Glen is not afraid to share the challenges of wedding photography. He provides the pros and cons of the business and also the participation of thoughts and experiences of his fellow photographers. Unlike many other books on wedding photography, this is not the wedding photos of high-end housing. It includes images which I believe can be achieved by anyone serious about the craft. Almost all the photos included information on the nature of the blow and the camera settings used for photography. This is a book you want to write, sticky yellow pages selected and constantly refer as they prepare for outbreaks of different marriages. I greatly appreciate what the photographer has worked hard. It 'a very necessary book.

This book tells experienced photographers, with everything you need to know to make the transition to professional wedding photography. This is one of the best books I have encountered in the field of photography. The author begins by describing three styles of wedding photography: traditional wedding photography, photojournalism, wedding photography and style of journalism with a portrait of each summer to help the reader understand the implications in terms of equipment, activities wedding day, individual style and even taxes. Like most of the book the reader can say, "This is so clear. Why do not you think? " Throughout the book, the author assumes that deals with photographers who know how to use the camera. When it comes to equipment, it is assumed that the reader is familiar with the functions of a single lens reflex digital camera and describes only the features that it was important to select a camera for wedding photography. His method throughout the book is to follow the workflow of wedding photographer from the customer meeting to provide the wedding photos. His discussion of the changing rooms is typical of his approach. The author analyzes the photographer's goal is necessary, and what to lay down conditions for wedding shots of the case. It points out the lighting problems and suggest solutions. He also explains how to submit a site for the bride dressing that will provide the most memorable shots and also includes tips on dressing room etiquette, including nudity. When it comes to the ceremony, says that the vaccines should have, and how to plan to not miss any, but not to offend the visitors who came to see the wedding, not the photographer. The book concludes with some suggestions on how to set the workspace and methods for providing the photos for the customer. This book could serve as a model for authors of books on photography. The pattern is clear and concise. No material useless, but a photographer all you need to know to make the transition to wedding photography is included. The book is not aimed at those who watch a wedding and want to get some pictures of the bride. Rather, it addresses the person who wants to photograph weddings as a business and knows something about taking pictures and digital processing. I'm not sure how much new material for the practice wedding photographer found here, but also for wedding shooters can learn something about the organization of the workflow to create a product that can and please customers. And, of course, is a key issue. You can make money, you can indulge to the participants, and can create art as a successful wedding photographer.

. . . because it is written well. Let me start by offering praise to the auditors Amazon. I ordered this book because its rating of 5 stars. If I have only seen on the shelf of a bookcase, do not know if I have taken. . . and would have been my loss. Why do I keep receiving requests for more and more to do weddings, I sat a few days ago and has three books from Amazon, every 5 stars. I wanted to see if marriage is something that I have the courage to enter. The other two books I have peeled, looked at the pictures, skimmed a paragraph or a chapter, when something caught my attention and left. This started this afternoon and read from beginning to end. . . unintentionally! Before you yawn and move on, we know that this book is two times more often than the book Amherst Media (and only slightly smaller). First, this book is aimed at people like me. . . People who have a good knowledge of reflection and are either curious or serious to start shooting weddings. The book is written in a colloquial style, with no history of congestion that has made me put the other two down, after browsing. I felt like the author was talking to someone of my level without eliteism everyone I meet with the mixture of semi-pro or circles. For example, I know that shooting in RAW gives you more control over the images. I know that primes are generally sharper than zooms. I know the purists, who proudly snub their nose in JPEG format, zoom, or both, discuss with the disgust that one might speak of a cockroach on the floor. . . or junior photographer in the face of those who timidly mentioned using both. I have a couple of primes, and probably going to buy Photoshop CS2 in the next 12 months. Even if its a necessary evil, I really like sitting at a computer with imaging software that I have, something much less complicated as CS2. Rather, I tried to spend the last couple of years to immerse myself in the picture, trying to get the best, most creative images through the lens and the camera. . . before the whole process. I never felt second class, while reading this book. The author explains that the "thing" to do, but also highlights that the "why." One suggestion for some shots that you have the photos required as an example, but often have other photos that show how differences in assumptions that affect the final image. . . generally negative. This author has a small problem "that shows" and "tell." He provides examples of RAW is better because most of the time, but freely admits that RAW has a cost-benefit balance of compensation, especially one without a staff photographer for the study of post-processing. He has no problem with the idea that sometimes that wins compensation JPEG, for any reason. He writes about situations he feels JPEG works well and times when the photographer needs JPEG RAW, if possible (for example, pictures of a bride in full sun). It shows some examples of why we say that. After all this, then goes into a recommendation for use if you choose JPEG. Other authors adopt the tone: "Please, do what I say, you're wasting your time, both reading beyond. He talks about how digital photography has changed the landscape of marriage (as people like me, seeing that) and the tendency of some photogs provide digital copies on DVD, instead of maintaining the negatives and prints of extracting money. In fact, my new favorite wedding picture (perhaps preferred in any photo!) Was one of those books. But I kept coming back to this book to read. Although I can not count how many PHOTOG books I read in the last two years, learned yet. I do not know if you are genuinely committed to marriage or not. I know I'm a photographer better now than it was 8 hours. . . without even taking a camera. UPDATE 11/07 I agree with one reviewer that the book is probably more useful for the shooters of marriage with 0-5 to his credit. I probably also add that its more useful for photogs who have read books 0-5 of the marriage. As I said, I bought the other books were full of "Photo" that dazzle and inspire. Heck, I took the other two for the thumb, through photographs and ogle the night before. But last week, I broke to read it again. New wedding photography? Picture books are a great source of visual inspiration. Amazon is full of books marriage purdyful thin, full-page photos.
